World Pride

It's World Pride in Toronto this year.

Happy Pride to all my LGBTTIQQ2SA* friends and family, and readers, and strangers...
LeoB  hasn't told us if he's gay or not, so we are assuming for now he's an ally, since he loves Aunties S and K so much.  And you know, he hasn't learned to be a judgmental jerk yet (dear everything, please let me be able to teach him not to be!).

Since it's Canada Day on Tuesday, and Pride this weekend, I 'killed 2 birds with one photo'

nature vs. nurture

I only have one kid.  I have no idea if what I'm doing is working, or if it's because of the kid I have.

I try not to feel smug when I talk about LeoB sleeping at night.  Yes, he wakes up every 2 hours, but we're co-sleeping, so he just has to butt his head against me and I pop a boob in his mouth, so we're pretty well rested.  He doesn't have to wake up to get my attention. 

Is that because I'm doing it right?  It's right 'cause it works for me...but would it work for everyone?
Does it work because of who LeoB is?
