I've had days, as my friend Lannis said, eaten by a migraine.
Or multiple migraines.
My head has been sore, on and off, since Saturday morning.
Last time I had a migraine I discovered (TMI WARNING!) orgasms help. If you can get past the pain, an orgasm makes the pain go away. First I couldn't get past the pain. And a few days later, it didn't help.
I took a homeopathic remedy, and that helped short term.
I slept for 12 hours last night. In pain. I kept waking up and forcing my body to relax.
That is really it. All I could do was troll Pinterest. I couldn't read, or watch tv with any concentration, but I needed a distraction. God Bless you Pinterest. Go see what I pinned.

sicky pants
I'm not going to try and make words go together in a way that comprehends.
I'll share another post on how to get better from being sick...that has no sense making to it either.
I'll try and follow this advice and maybe get better.

a week of nothing at all
I try not to complain.
So I'll whine instead!
Sunday night, while visiting my Grandparents I was getting sore throat and coughy
Let me add some good stuff to break up the whine. Some photo creations from a while back with Grandma and Grandpa:
Then Monday I went to work miserable and got sent home early. The good thing was that I actually went in because one of our staff called in sick with pneumonia!
I ended up calling in sick for Tuesday and Wednesday. I was SO sick. Body ache, sinus pressure, snot, cough. Pain. None of my normal remedies seemed to work. At one point J gave me a T2 with codeine, and that worked...and then it wore off. What a sad realization!
I went to the clinic to get a doctors note, and my own doc. was available. She was able to be a little more 'thorough' than the walk in would be. She thought I had a sinus infection (I do not) so gave me anti-biotics. I decided not to take them, but later that night J, the nurse, said he didn't like the way my cough was sounding and said I should take them. So I begrudgingly did. *harrumph* turns out, it was a good thing I got the 'script. I coughed up...well, never mind. The infection seemed to have taken up residence in my bronchial tubes instead. And with the scare of my co-worker and her being sick for 3+ weeks and developing pneumonia (and this year my friend Beat was hospitalized with it, and other complications) I don't want a bacterial infection getting out of control! Even after only one dose my energy is back up some. Now that my body doesn't have to fight so hard.
So not only did I miss 2 full days at the coffee shop, I came to the realization that there was no way I could physically do the garden maintenance. *sigh*
and I've booked off 5 days for thanksgiving! I do have vacation hours that I can bank, thank goodness.
The lesson. Be aggressive, be-e aggressive. And demand one day off a week. No wonder I got sick, from migraine to this. No days off.
I'm not wicked! WHAAAAAAAAAAA.
(and don't worry, I'm taking pro-biotics between doses and will double up once the bottle is empty)

overwork, over tired, oversick
I haven't had a day off in...I don't know when.
I had a week long migraine, then I did a cleans that left me with no energy (I stopped) and NOW I'M SICK.
I've missed several gatherings and this makes me sad.
This made me happy today though.
I'm a big Radiohead fan. So, it's not the lyrics, but the way one of my favourite songs has been done.

i am frusterated
I am Grumpy. I don't mean that I'm grumpy today, or when I'm PMSing. I have come to the realization that I *really* don't like people.I see people I consider friends on my terms see? I don't feel like being social, I don't go out. (huh, do I cancel plans a lot?? I'm sorry if I do.)
The people I've spoken to about the way I act around and treat J don't understand. "but you are so loving and sweet!" my reply, "That's because you don't live with me." Don't get me wrong, I *am* loving and sweet to J, just not all the time. Most if the time I'm a bit of a jerk.
Part of the problem is I'm not all that self aware. That is changing some.
Part of it is entitlement.
Those things = mega bitch.
(one day when Pickle was here we made super hero/villain names, J was Captain Obvious,Pickle was...huh, I can't remember, but I was The Pain.)
J deals with it fairly well, but when he has his own problems he doesn't.
For example. I've been noticing (yay...self aware) that the last couple days I've been super grumpy. In part because I have been sick, and not breathing properly since Thursday. Not an excuse, just a reason. Jason does this thing where he glances at me, over and over, when I'm in a mood, and since I'm in a mood, I finally 'say' "What!?". And he does the "oh...nothing" thing. This morning I say "Please stop being passive aggressive and just TELL ME what I'm doing that is bothering you?" (because a lot of the time I really don't know how bitchy I am) His big thing is getting defensive, so, because *he* is stressed out (oh life and your curve balls), says "fine, I'll just be aggressive, don't talk to me today" and *I* say "next time try being assertive instead of aggressive and just tell me what's wrong"
We haven't spoken since.
Wait, what was I talking about?
Me being a grump.
We have Sisu staying with us. I like her. She's an excellent room mate. But having someone in my space has made me realise how anti social I really am. *sigh* (so Sisu, if you are reading this, it's me not you!)
I think things are worse *right now* because I'm not working, *and* I have a broken finger in a huge splint *and* have bronchitis so I have hardly been out of the house for almost a week. And sex with bronchitis...ha.

siiiiiick
I'm not even sure if this post will make any sense...my apologies if it doesn't.
It's SO weird. I've been feeling myself get sicker and sicker all day. Fire throat, sore ear, snot and messed up sinuses. I guess I just normally feel kinda off one day, and then wake up at deaths door. *This* time it's like watching a bath fill up...it's not really noticeable, but it's getting fuller. (I told you it wouldn't make sense).
Instead of whine, I thought I'd share my sick remedies.
1. oregano oil. I do 3 or 4 drops a few times a day...that's kinda arbitrary...maybe you should follow what the bottle says??
2. Hot tea. asap. make a pot. and then another. this makes you pee. A LOT. I hate peeing. It's such a bother. But I suppose it flushes out the sick.
3. Hot bath with eucalyptus.
4. Don't let yourself get cold after the bath. touque, scarf, socks slippers and make yourself into a blanket burrito. Sweat it out.
5. Make your spouse go out and buy you lemons and ginger. Make a hot lemon with chopped ginger, honey (RAW) and a dash of cayenne. (sweat!)
6. chicken soup. home made or at least those expensive jars. you need whole foods, not crap. In the bottom of the bowl add some
7. raw chopped garlic. Raw garlic is supposed to be fab for you. If you can stand it chew a clove!!
8. Sleep. in a blanket burrito. keep sweating, and rest.
oh, and if your throat is sore, gargle salt water.
here's hoping I get better soon!
